Hello MAKE A GIFT ... GIVE A SPONSORSHIP Hello

 MAKE A GIFT

(A USEFUL AND INTELLIGENT ONE)!

It is a sure fact that we are living in a time dominated by waste and futility!

Every occasion seems to be a good one to push us to squander money on the purchase of useless goods.  There may be “important” events such as birthdays, anniversaries, and other more artificial ones such as Father’s Day, Valentine’s Day, Borneo’s Rooster Day, the Arctic Chimp’s Day, etc.  Days created just to make us spend and waste our hard earned money.

Sainam is proposing you do something different to end this absurdity.  We would like to help you show your love, affection, and respect to a person who is dear to you by making a gesture that is truly meaningful.

Would you like to remember a person who left a mark in your life?

Give that special someone a SPONSORSHIP

Subscribe a sponsorship in the name of a dear one and he/she will receive a photo and regular information about one of the children we support.

I have given this gift in the name of my father, my mother, and my brother…every year on their birthday I pay the sponsorship quotas in their names.

By doing this I am not only giving a young child the chance at an education but also, very selfishly, I avoid getting crazy thinking about what they may need and about what things they may not have, yet!

This means no wandering around noisy and crowded shopping malls for me, saving me time, energy, and probably money too!

Think about it, your present will be love, solidarity, hope, and awareness!

We are giving you the change to say “enough” to all this waste and squandering, to go back to the simplicity of true feelings in giving help to someone, to send out a message of love, towards a dear one and towards a needy child.

S.O.S. – HELP US TO HELP THEM

Here I am forced to ask for your help. Why? Because we are facing an undisputable truth: while Sainam is helping 170 kids, there are an additional 81 needy children on the “waiting list”.  To put it simply, while we try our hardest to help as many people as we can with the finances that we have, we can’t help them all.

This year we have been extremely lucky to have a few very generous souls who have helped us out a lot.  These individuals carry the main merit for what we have achieved thus far, but this fact does not ensure that we will be able to raise the same amount of money next year.  As the “Sponsorship Program” is a long term scholarship program, it would really be a shame (and indeed somewhat cruel) to take away the hope we gave to these kids.

So here I am asking for your help and co-operation.  If you believe in what we are doing please help us (and this does not mean exclusively financially).  Please help to spread the word about Sainam to your friends, your neighbors, and your colleagues.  Help us to spread our message.  Try to get more people involved in our work and who knows, maybe they’ll even become a sponsor and help to make a difference in a child’s life.

I address this section to the young people who are notoriously penniless.  You may not have much money but surely you have energy.  Why not get together and try to find us some help to support young people like you who are struggling in Thailand (and whose very existence may be at risk)?  You can start some “Sainam Working & Support Groups”, wherever you may be I will always be here, as long I will have strength and energy, to co-operate with you.  Wherever I may be I will be by your side.  If you believe in the joy of helping someone in need, write to me and together we can achieve something beautiful and, most of all, lasting.

Help us to spread our newsletter “Phatthana” and make people aware of our web site www.sainam.net everything helps, we do not need big things.  Remember from small things big things grow!

This is not for me, not for Sainam Foundation, but for these young people.  These children not only rely on our work for some of their basic needs, but their hope is dependent on us as well.  I do not say that to sound conceited, but it is the truth.  And I can promise you, as usual, that we will always work from our heart, doing the best we know how.

Thanks, on their behalf!
