We keep visiting families scattered around a pretty big area now, families who needs some help.  We encounter many families and cases, all different and at the same time, all the same.  This case, however, is pretty particular.

In Ban Pore, there is a lady who is looking after 7 children.  Two of them are hers, but all of the others have been abandoned by their respective parents who are also the woman’s relatives.

The woman’s husband left the family as well, since he didn’t want to take care of all these kids, so Supaporn she is now left alone with her mother to look after them.

Now, our financial outlook is better, but the big slice of our budget goes into the support of the Scholarship Program.  This program is not fully covered but in any case we decided, once again, not to bother too much about the numbers and to defy the odds and to add 4 of these children to our Scholarship Program.  Maybe we will find sponsors for them one day.

At least we are working on it.
