We will soon start another “low cost” program in our village, once the new Soondek Sainam house will be 100% ready.  We will give writing and reading courses to the adults in our village, and of course I mean Thai lessons and not English. 

The fact is that many people in our villages can barely read and write and some of them came to us and asked for our help to improve their reading and writing skills.  We are of course very happy to give them this chance because the request came from them, we honestly never thought about it.  This is indeed a good sign indeed, it means their awareness is improving and this can only be good for them. 

The courses will be held during the weekend and the teachers will be no one else than our Sao Sao or some teachers who will all be, obviously, volunteering.  I repeat we are really happy about this, as we see it as another small step in the right direction.
