Today March 26^th, one of our project was completed when we officially donated to the Thai Government the multi-purpose hall we built in co-operation with PROGETTO SANTA LUCIA  of PAMBIO NORANCO, SWITZERLAND to honor the memory of our good and never forgotten friend Italo!

We had the pleasure to welcome Khun Samarnmitra Chitnaknaen, assistant-chief of Rattana Buri education office who attended the ceremony during which we remembered Italo, a man who has been one Sainam’s first and greatest friends, we thought about him and his wife Manuela and we really wished they both could be here with us, together, once again.

The district Government of Rattana Buri, the people, the poor people of Ban Khennoi are really grateful to everyone connected with this project and asked me to extend their thanks to everyone.

Ban Khennoi’s teacher also took the change to have the “good luck and farewell” ceremony for the students who will leave the village’s primary school to start their classes in Sanom’s High School. As usual it was a simple ceremony, but also a very emotional one. Our duty is done and now is up to the teachers of Ban Khennoi to work for the future of these children.
