The Micro-lending project has officially restarted thanks to the Swiss Sunday newspaper “Il Caffè.” They really did their part when they appealed to people to help us. We are so grateful to them. Now, we will do ours, but before we will have to wait for someone to come forward to help the people who came to ask for our support, to start an occupation in their own villages.
The first case we have been able to help is the one of Noi’s grandmother, who is taking care of her after her parents left her. Noi is one of our most intelligent and determined students, and so we are very happy to help this family. They asked for a loan of ฿ 20.000 – € 460 which was granted and soon they will be able to open their home grocery store |
