| NOT EXACTLY THE NOBEL PRIZE BUT ... | View 212 |

On April 12th, the Sainam Foundation received a very small award from the BOARD of RATTANA BURI HIGH SCHOOL for “rendered public service.” Of course, this award is far from being the Nobel Prize, and it is in the end just a “piece of paper.” However, having our work publicly recognized by the Local Government made us quite proud. Even though, I admit, pride basically goes against one of the main essential teachings of Buddha.
Nevertheless, this means at some level that what we have been doing these past 3 years is not so wrong and that, after all, Sainam has done some good in the world! So, allow me to take the chance to thank you, to thank everyone. If Sainam received this small, “worthless” award the credit must go to those of you who believed, and still believe I hope, in the work that we are doing. Without you, none of this would have been possible, so thank you! I would also like to thank the “core” members of the Kropkrua Sainam. I refer most of all to my wife (actually my BOSS, who did collect the award), who has really been instrumental and indispensable in the achievement of our goals. Without her there couldn’t be a Sainam! Thanks go also to our faithful workers and volunteers, people like Pii Tom, Pii Ruen, Pii Nud, Pa Joy, Pa Aon, Lung Saeng, and many others who through their work and support helped us a lot. Last but not least, I would like to thank all of you, you may not be many, but you have been great for us.
