Please do not think that we brought our “grannies” to some of Bangkok’s most exclusive stores and boutiques after reading this title.  Rather, it is in reference to the fact that recently, the SaoYai’s manufactured silk products have been appreciated by the owners of “Colori d’Asia” (www.coloridasia.it ), a boutique based in Varese, Via Carlo Croce 12, Italy.

Mrs. Lella Bollasina decided to buy them and put them on sale in the shop she shares with her sister.  From here, as usual in our consumerist society, the customer will decide the “fate” of this new partnership.  Let’s hope the Colori d’Asia customer base will appreciate our silk products, and that the shop could become a regular outlet for our SaiYai’s work.

In any case, we would like to thank Nella and her sister Lorena for trying to help us. We really do appreciate it, and we are grateful for their words of praise about the quality of our silk.  Once again, I would like to remind you that Sainam receives no financial benefit from this project.  Our only goal is to help provide jobs for these women so their families can benefit.
